Ordered a Dana 60 today

I"m having Moser build me a Dana 60 with a 4.10 detroit locker and disc brakes. They have been great to work with and make it fast. I will feel better knowing I will only be crunching my tranny now instead of the rear end. :roll: :roll: :roll:

I can't wait to get this thing rolling. It should walk the dog! :thumrigh:

Let's see now. You jumped to over 600 hp from over 500 hp with the heads and cam. The Dana weighs about 60 lbs more than the 8.75. That sounds like a very good HP to weight ratio gain to me. :shock: :shock:

The Dana set cost $2700 with the wilwood discs.

I bought it basically for insurance. I don't care about breaking gears, they're cheap. I'm worried about something happening when I break gears and slamming my car into a poll. :shock: :shock: :shock:

Chad, I have everything that I own for an 8 3/4 for sale. My axle, drum brakes etc. My axles are Moser's with the green bearings and 5 on 4 with 7 1/6 studs.

All my center sections are for sale too! check classified's

I checked shipping on the center sections to NY and it was $63

Who ever buy's my stuff will get a hell of a deal cause all my stuff is basically new. Crap, the 489's have deroit locker's that cost almost as much as I'm asking for the whole center section. The only place I have advertised anything is here so far. I wil be hitting ebay soon. There is nothing but junk on there for sale bringing good money.

My 489 4.10's are in the car and have to stay there until I get the Dana in. Other than that everything else is ready to go.

I'm liquidating everything I don't need anymore. I'm tired of storing it.
