My grandfather recently found the original radio he pulled from my 73 Scamp. Glad he saves everything and didn't toss it 25 years ago when he swapped it for a tape deck.

So here is what I want to do:

Put the original radio back in.

Then use this contraption to stream bluetooth music from my phone. http://www.outofsightaudio.com/mark-iii.html

Has anyone done this? Any advice?

If not I will post a follow up when it's done.

I don't understand what you are trying to do. They say you can put lipstick on a pig and it's still a pig. You can't even put lipstick on that thing because it doesn't have any lips

What I mean is, it's a non--stereo, AM radio. If you hack into it (such as the volume control) to input some outside audio into it, you will still end up with low quality, low power mono audio out

If you take audio OUT of it, you STILL have scratchy, noisy, staticy AM radio, and there is no music, most places.......only political lies and talk radio.
