stepped on by a cow?
crushed in a pocket when a cow squeezes you?
dropped in a cow pie?

take metal shavings without getting stuck in the speaker magnet?
still operate in a dusty environment?
the touch screen phones are crappy because a greasy finger cant operate them. Good luck with coolant on said finger.

Winter time you cant answer your phone because of mitts on your fingers.

these are just a few issues i have with cell phones.

My otter box survived falling out of my pocket at 110 when we were ripping across the sand dunes on our ATV's (yes I meant 110 MPH) no problems just a ***** to find had to use the find my iphone app from a buddies iphone

I have also used the otterbox for several years now and it has definitely saved the phone many times. Recently I did crack the back case when it took a spill and just so happened to hit a sharp corner right through the hole for the camera. Threw some clear packaging tape over it and haven't worried about it since.

I've had an otter box and liked it, worked very well.
But I now have a life-proof just because it is water proof (but it doesn't float!).
Never had an issue with either one.
