Anyone catch overhaulin' on SPEED the other nite?

This guys' 71 Challenger was ripped off to get overhauled by Chip Foose and the boys.

I know this is an E body, but after seeing the paint scheme on this car, I wondered how my 69 Barracuda ragtop would look with something similar.

Chip mixed up a super bright sassyfass green for the top half, from the door handle and up. From there down, it was black. Where the two colours came together, he designed a stripe slightly different from the AAR stripe, from front to back.

This car looked really sweet when it was all done.

The only thing I cannot get over, is seeing 20" wheels with 1" of sidewall showing...on a Mopar!!!!

And they always insist on installing sound systems that are capable of starting another Tsunami.

When I'm drivin, the only sound I want to hear are those 3" Magna Turbos.

My 69er is pesently sunfire yellow with a black top. I wondered how it would look if it were black from the door handles and up, and keep the sunfire below that. Then I would need a stripe of some sort to bring it all together.

Whata ya think?? [/i]

Did you notice they got rid of the spoiler and shaved all the emblems! :thumbdow:
Those wheels were horrible!
Hope they don't do anymore Mopars!

That's an old show. The car was on the cover of one of the magazines I subscribe to in the past month or so, can't recall which. For those of you that are on BOG , Aaron the Junk Yard Hero was one of the build huys on that show.

I do like some of the trick stuff they do and I did like the paint on that car. But if it were me and someone took off with my cuda and then I got a call and they knew where it was you wouldn't catch me sittin around waiting for calls. Someone would be gett'en an *** beat'en and right now. I hope they never pick me.

Hey mopar dude:

I know what you mean...the quality can't be good.

I did catch the inside of that trunk...it was pretty bad!!! It would take a week to fix that alone. Looked OK though once they filled it with insulation speakers and carpeting!!!!

I've taken my niner to so-called ACE mopar mechanics to have them fix things that should be simple for them.

Turns out I end up fixing it myself anyway...all I have to do is go to this site for all my answers, then I know it's done right.!!!
