Recently (especially during Covid) we have lost someMopar specific events and others are teetering even though they have been around for 40 years. Please come out and join your Mopar bretheren and help keep the hobby alive and well.
ALERT change in dates July 12th - Northwest Mopar Nationals
Held at Woodburn Dragstrip in Woodburn Oregon. Big Mopar car show, swap meet and Mopar drags. All Around Mopars makes a weekend of it by adding a cool Mopar related thing on August 1, so if you are interest in making a weekend of it send me a PM and we'll loop you in.
July 26th - Mopar Magic
This is All Around Mopars' annual Mopar Show with about 20 classes. Last year we had about 80 cars participate. It will be held at Peninsula High School near Gig Harbor WA.
August 9th - Mopar Summer Sizzler
This is the Northwest Chapter of Mopars Unlimited's annual Mopar only show held at Oak Harbor Motors in Oak Harbor WA. The dealership empties its lots and we fill them with cool Mopars. The day before, August 8th there will be an all makes car show at the Whidbey Naval Air Station in Oak Harbor, so make a weekend of it.
August 16th - Mopar Sunbust
This is the oldest and perhaps the largest Mopar only show in the PNW. Sponsored by the Tacoma Chapter of Mopars Unlimited, it is held at Frontier Park in Graham, WA. Big Mopar swap meet too.
September 12-13 I would be remiss if I didn't mention the Rod Run to the End of the World in Ocean Park, WA. With around 1000 cars over 30 years old on the show field there are plenty of Mopars to see! The Beach Barons own their own expansive grass event grounds for this 2 day show. Lots of vendors and activities. People start rolling into town on Thursday and there is a progressively more crowded cruise scene up and down the Long Beach Peninsula on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. The club shoos all the show cars off the field at night so all those cars are out on the street along with another several hundred cars that are too new for the show or too cheap to pay the entrance. If you want more details on this epic even, send me a PM. All Around Mopars even picked a best Mopar last year and handed out our own trophy!
