Paint head liner

[Back in Time]

Has anyone ever attempted to put headliner fabric material on these headliners?That's what I was thinking about doing to mine.

ok thanks,Im on a cell phone and it's hard to see some posts.
I think I will try this.Maybe sand down the top layer.I don't think I can make mine any worse.

Maybe sand down after the first coat is dry.
Sanding will probably make for a rougher more inconsistent surface if there isn't anything to hold it together there first.

Just a thought.

I realise this is an old thread but have you thought of spraying an epoxy resin clear coat to seal and stop water it will also hold it all together stopping further water damage.Then paint or cover?Just a thought
