I have a 2802714 pass side mirror. It is the thick one in my hand. The pair on my car are both thin. Does anyone know if there is a corresponding thick mirror (remote cable style) for the driver's side? Presently have a 2802301 on the drivers side.

I doubt there was a thick left mirror as it was thicker on the right to give it more range to me more effective for the driver.

I like that answer but I'm just wondering. Never noticed it till a friend gave me this fat one. BTW it is a B-body but the number I have on the driver's side says A and B.

This is the explanation that I have read on a mirror reproduction company site somewhere. The passenger mirror was thicker to allow further tilting toward the driver for proper visibility and is the correct thickness and match for the thinner remote control driver side mirror.

I was born in '79 so, I can't say for sure that's the way Mopar made them but that is what I have read.

looks a lot like a standard mirror that I have on my 67 barracuda....as far as thickness.

Thanks. I do have a 64 to 71 parts disc. I will check it out once we get a new 'puter!
