PCV Valve for Commando 273 Engines

Hi all,

Had a question - I need to replace the PCV valve on my commando 273 with the chrome cap.. if you go on rockauto theres a few different types and so on.. none SEEM to be the one that would work inside that chrome cap.

Where can I find this part (See pic.. heres an example of the one in question but mine is chrome)...?

There a good outfit! Those are getting harder to find but Mega has always been a decent honest supplier!

Good thing you have the chrome PCV cap - 66-69 Hemi's used the same chrome PCV cap as well and when you mix Hemi with parts, well you know what happens to the price lol!

Same as the oil fill cap.

sure, sometimes - but if the spring isn't really doing its job or whatever.. you'd never know. $25 shipped is a bit steep for a PCV but at least i know its proper and working.

I agree but if you soak it in carb cleaner you might be surprised. I run some that are 50 years old.

They would be cheaper if the 426 Hemi didn't use them too.

I had to get a new PCV - this one failed. and while i was on the site i found that they're selling the chrome housing for $45.. i know its been like, years.. but if you're still interested here's the link:
