Ok boys, now that I have the dart running, I am looking for some (mostly inexpensive) performance options.. Here is what I have have so far:

318 (not sure of castings yet)
318 Fast Burn heads
Offenhauser Single Plane intake
6-700 CFM carb, havent found the model yet (but I know it is a holley with vac secondaries and an elec choke)
MSD Coil
Accel 8.8mm Wires
727 Trans w/ TCI Shift kit
B&M Ratchet pro shifter
DynoMax headers w/ 2.5inch true dual (no cross over pipe)
Mopar Performance Valve covers and air cleaner (going on this weekend)
8 3/4 Rear w/ heavy duty carrier (not sure about gearing, hopefully find out this weekend when I get her up on the stands)

OK, I think that is about everything I know for sure. Here is what I am looking at in the near future:

Eventually replacing the 318 w/ a 340 (Or a thick wall 318 w/ 4inch bore and crank)
Replacing the transmission w/ a full TCI trans
4.56 gears

But for now, I am looking at what I can add to the 318 that can carry over to the 340, but will give a good performance increase as it sits. I am currently working on the following

Electric fan
Flamming river Manual Stearing Box
Mopar Orange ECU
MSD 6AL w/ remote timing resard (timing retard, just to scare the local when I pull in to the shows)
High Stall Converter (when the trans is replaced)

I am trying to NOT crack open the engine if possible, only becuase I dont want to put a lot of money into this engine, unless, it is feasibly possible to get into 12's with it....without spending the amount of money needed for the 340Becuase I have a "complete 318 w/ truck pan and pickup" I just built sitting here that was going into my 85 ramcharger, but will now be being sold to fund the dart...(hint hint)

He he he, love your hint...

Theres a oxymoron going onin the list;
Mopar Orange ECU

You can have them both in the car, but only one works when your driving. Go MSD.

What Offy intake is it and do you have a picture of it by chance?

I don't know about low 12's, but it's worth a shot at having some fun though. The mystery carb needs to be IDed for sure. And trafering parts from the teen to a 340 isn't to bad, but what would be good for one isn't allways great for the other.
As the teen sits, (Gear ratio unknown) I'd opted for a XE268H with ported and milled heads in a 9.5-1 ratio. You may need new push rods with the milling.
Add an "X" pipe to the exhaust. 3.91 gears and good rear springs. Wide tires no taller than 26 inchs.

Sorry it took so long, Ive been a little busy.

The offy is a 360 Single Plane Intake. I can try to get pics soon for you.

I am really leaning toward just going after a set of Edelbrock Aluminum heads and a new cam, but I have to get other stuff done first.

As to the X pipe, is it really worth it. I am planning on re-doing the exhuast this year and chaning over to Flowmaster 40 series with dumps.

Not to seem stupid but... XE268H? (heads?)

For the mean time I am thinking about swapping my edelbrock dual plane for the offy right now, just untill I get more power going.. (or untill I find someone who wants to buy the offy)

Hey intense, no problem. My spare time is spent here or under the car inbetween doing wash, changing diapers etc.....<LOL>

A picture would be cool. Do you have the MoPar engines book for the small block? It has instructions on how to modify the offy for best performance.

True, first things first. However, even though I like the Edel. heads myself, you might want to price out 318 head work and investagate whats doable on the head before making the jump to a (For a 318) large port head.

Yes! An "X" pipe is very worth the time and expense to do.

As in the cam to use. Not enuff IMO. Depending on weight of the car, it can change. But I still think you could use more cam even more so with the intended 4.56's.
(Hummm, sounds like a thread coming up)
If you swap out the dual plane for the single plane right now, (Not knowing whats in the car/engine now) you could end up in worse shpe, but for sure, a lose of low end torque.
