And heres the same Duster, with the springs moved in, mini tubbed, a narrowed 8 3/4(shorter than an a body rear), with 15x10 rims with 4.5 BS and 325/50-15 Nitto Drag radials...

Thanks, actually there the same ss springs, its just the tire size went from a 245/55 17( I think) which was a 25.5" tall tire to a 28" tall tire which really raised it up. I want to drop it down a little though, maybe 1-1.5 inches in the rear.

My old 71 Duster w/ stock length B-body Dana 60 on 305 50 15 BFGs on 10" wide Weld Draglites. No tubbing, but SS springs relocated 3/4". Rims have 6.5" backspacing. It was sold a few years ago.

I have a 73 duster original slant now 318 and this month I'm doing a 8 3/4 rear with new leaf springs. The rear is probably gonna be out of an b b body so it would be an 1 1/2 or so longer on each side and I don't want it to rub, I wanna see some pics of your cars setup and info like what springs are you using I like the stink bug look and tires sticking out but just need the rear a little higher I have 245/60/15...... thanks for your time

I just did this swap on my 74 Dart Sport. The stock rallyes with 235/70/14's fit up inside the well no problem. I am going to a larger/wider tire and I will have to get wheels with deeper backspacing. I don't have tires on yet.

DL, This is an old post, but I'm just now getting to this point and am looking at buying 325/50-15's to go on my TorqT's of my 68 Barracuda. Can you tell me what tire you're running (brand/size)? What's the backspace on your wheels? What's your measurement from end of axle/end of axle? And finally...any advice before the undertaking begins? Thanks
