So I recently bought a basket case 1973 duster with a 225 and a 904 with a very clean body that came from California. The prior owner did his best to get it running with little information on early mopar and installed a super six intake manifold thinking it was the hyper pack. The throttle cable installation was pretty hacked. During my first start it got stuck wide open throttle, well you can guess what happened. But it did come alive
. He may have modified a Edelbrock setup.
I am in desperate need of pictures of the throttle linkage around the carb, and the kick down rod. In my recent research, there seems to be shorter cables which work. And there seems to be some options around the kick down rod.
Thanks alot, John
