Pictures of motor mounts.

Can someone direct me to pictures of the motor mounts in a 1971 scamp v8 or similar. I'm trying to replace mine and I don't think they were installed right previous to me owning the car. Specifically trying to figure if and where the spool goes. As is it only has a rubber mount on each side. Thanks.

What type of K frame do you have?
From your description it sounds like you have spools and biscuits mixed up...
A '71 would have had biscuit mounts unless it has been changed along the way.

Ok that makes sense. It has two biscuits, but when I ordered them the computer stated only one for left side and spool was the only other part. I got two biscuits since they are identical.

Spool mounts were 73 and up

When installing, the engine mount bracket goes on the back of the ears on the engine.

I did find the info in a service book, no pics but explanation was good, krazykuda thanks for that as that part was confusing me. Info I found says mount behind ears and with the rubber mount towards the front, after that there is only one way for it to go. Thanks all for the help, it's in now.
