Add a simple light to an existing circuit but much more than that should have it's own power source. Check your accessories for power input needs. The 50 year old bulkhead connectors were close to being overloaded originally.

I know what I paid for a whole new M&H main harness. Plus the rear light, engine and forward light. No way am I cutting anything.
if someone does need to add something normal size like the factory would have, a quick look may sometimes be an extra unused slot in a fuse holder. Use this to add one more proper fused circuit for something dedicated instead of PiggyBack. Use it within reason power wise. Keep on mind, "Not Every Car" got loaded up with options.
