Hey FABO,

NAPA used to carry the smaller version of the pilot bearing below. Just wondering if anyone has one in their stash that never got used.

I believe it's about 0.94 OD. For my 67 crankshaft.
This one is too big.

I don't think NAPA had a smaller pilot bearing like you show. They did have a pilot "bushing" with a reduced OD for use when the crank was not finished reamed. As far as I know that has been discontinued for several years. You could have a machine shop turn down the OD of a stock pilot bushing.

That's probably what it will come to. Thanks
 
Dorman used to make a bushing, not bearing to fit the converter bore, but I think it was discontinued. I've never seen one for the early crank

If your crank is not finished machine, check that it is deep enough to clear the shaft length
