Pitman Arm

I keep running into this all of the time..."the part will fit a 65 Valiant, but not a 65 Valiant Barracuda." I'm doing my steering linkage for my 65 Barracuda, rod ends, adjuster tubes, idler arm etc. My pitman arm seems to be in great shape no play at all in the tapered connector, in fact quite tight. But If I'm doing all of the rest of the linkage, I want to replace the pitman arm also. The question is...If a K7074 power/manual pitman arm fits a 65 Valiant, shouldn't it fit my 65 Barracuda?

There is no difference in steering components within the same year A-bodies EXCEPT the '67-69 big block cars and the early drag links. So, yes if it fits a '65 Valiant it will fit your Barracuda.
