Pittsburghracer Garage Sale

-
Ethan and Matt, your dad was one of the highlights of this forum, his wealth of knowledge and experience, that he was always willing to share was something that will be missed by most everyone here. His sense of humor was outstanding, but his love of his sons was what made him someone that we all admired. John was taken from you far too soon, we are all very sorry for your loss.
Good luck with your garage sale, unfortunately I too am much too far away.

One guy you should get in contact with, if you have not, is Steve, OldManMopar. He is in PA, a member of this board

Hi Ethan and Matt. I only has message conversations with your dad. But I consider him as great person and a friend. I added him to my prayer list that I go thru every night. I thoroughly enjoyed his posts. He was a wealth of information and he didn’t have a problem sharing anything with anybody. I really liked his food posts and use at least 1 recipe every 2 weeks or so. Good luck with the garage sale. Kim

Ethan, I'm so sorry for the loss of your father, I had the utmost respect for him. I had hoped to meet him on one of my trips back home as he was very much like my late father. Like John, my father worked in a steel mill back in Pittsburgh and like your father was always willing to help others. There is something special about mill workers.

As others have said, don't you and Matt be strangers.

Hey guys, Ethan (John’s son) here. First off, I’d like to say thanks to the community, as I spend a lot of time searching Pittsburghracer and reading everything that comes up anytime I feel the need to hear from him. It’s great to see how much he was eager to help those in need of guidance on here. That and it’s great to chuckle at the more ridiculous posts as well.

My brother and I have decided to have a garage sale tomorrow and Sunday from 10-4 to try and clear it out to those in need of tools, equipment, parts, etc., as we’re both living out of state, so it’s proving to be quite difficult. If you’re interested, please pm me for an E mail address

Thanks again.
