please explain this to me (corporate face)

Sean Yseult loves Dodge Super Bee's.

I'd buy anything from that Chick.

She's an awesome Bass Plater as well.

Never had an ad sway me one way or the other.

If I were a betting man (and I am, occasionally), I would bet you have been…
Companies spend millions on ads and tracking those ads. They probably have some ads made just for you - you just don't know it. It might even be disguised as "news".

Personally I thought some of the most insulting ads on the planet were some of those "that thing gotta hemi" campaign

"I am an important man. My apartment smells of leather bond
Books and has much mahogany furniture."
That's some funny sht. But still won't buy a Durango.

Chryslers best was the "So God Made A Farmer" for the Ram Trucks!

not just Chrysler, taken across the board this is IMHO the best add out there

that commercial could have been great if the add company would have had the testicular fortitude to put the two jokers in a nova instead of a duster

you guys remember when companies still took jabs at each other in adds ?

like this one

You talking about the "beep beep" banner at the beginning? I'm not so sure that wasn't added by the guy editing that video. TV didn't have banners like that back in 69, there was no technology to generate them

no, im talking about the cartoon at the 50 second mark, where the narrator says "cobra, watch it, this one eats birds for breakfast"
then the little cobra cartoon goes over a dune, you hear a distinct "beep-beep" and there is a cloud of feathers

(just watch the add)

Well I missed that, LOL. There might have been a few people back then that did, too.

What was the old joke about a Mustang raced a Roadrunner? Bird feathers and horse **** all over the highway.

short list of reasons why the wifey is driving a GMC acadia right now

I think they are funny, doesn't mean im gonna go buy a new Durango though ! Don't take offense, but an Acadia ? I used to like them when they first came out..... then I started working on them. Those vehicles have more problems than almost anything else that's on the road. Unless you like water leaks( sunroof drain tubes, clogged hvac drain tubes ), steering gear replacements, intermediate shaft replacements, corroded dash connectors, etc .... I would stay clear of all GM versions of those .

Like it or not, anything advertised will sell more than unadvertised. The product just has to be ''good enough'' to sell.
It doesn't even have to be ''better'' than the competition.
It's all about exposure of the product.

I saw the ad for Dodge just the other day and thought the same thing. Can't stand that guy. The annoying ads probably work better then the entertaining ads, because the annoying ads I remember what they are for, the entertaining ads I remember the ad but not what they are for. If I were to buy new (or nearly new)it wouldn't be dodge as nothing (ok Challenger, maybe)they make trips my trigger and nothing fits what I am looking for.

speaking off jabs, did you guys see the add for the new charger ?
"because we're pretty sure no kid ever grew up with a poster of a Passat on his bedroom wall"

I actually traded a Passat in on that acadia (which by the way I bought with the extended warranty, it is a chebby afterall) and it laved for years side by side with my wifeys winterbeater (08 charger)
im pretty sure that Passat (2.0T 6 speed) would easily outrun the charger (3.5 4speed auto AWD)
and before that Passat I had a 1.8T 5 speed Passat that I KNOW would circle that charger...seems someone had reprogrammed the ECU to hold 18 PSI of boost instead of the stock 7:burnout:

that car was a blast to drive
