Went to a swap meet over the weekend and a guy had a big block a-body k-member complete with dic brakes, power steering, upper and lower arms and all hardware. had a price tag of 150$ on it. I didn't bring my truck and told the guy I would be back after a little browsing. It sold 5 minutes later.

That really sucks. I went to a swap meet here recently and picked up a 8 3/4 a body housing with axles for $5 and a complete disasembled 340 for $200. For these kind of prices you have to compromise. lol

yeah, and the thing is I just picked up the 70 swinger a couple months ago and still haven't decided which way to go with it. Small block, big block, street car, race car, old school, new school, I bet the k-member would have made one decsision for me........

Hey, we all do it from time to time...

Last year at a swap meet, a guy was selling rust-free 71/72 Charger fenders for $35 each. I had a herniated disk in my back and brought a car to sell, so no room anyway and I wasn't real keen on wrestling with sheetmetal. Luckily, my friend also drove (in case I sold my car). Yep, he left the truck at home and drove his daughter's Celica. duh.
