Hey all,
I recently had to take my AC compressor off when I swapped in my new engine because the mounting wasn't right on the new intake. It didn't work anyway, I was just using it for the alternator bracket. Now that its off though, does anyone have any suggestions for plugging the holes for the AC line that leads into the firewall? I thought maybe I could find a piece of PVC pipe end or something that would cap it, or maybe even an champagne cork or something.

Seaside might be a poor town for this, but a hydraulic hose outfit ALWAYS has all kinds of plastic plugs for fittings.

Actually, that's exactly the kind of establishment you'd find in Seaside. That and pawnshops and liquor stores and hand made tortillas. Good idea though, I'll go check it out. Thanks.

Don't forget to suck on each line before capping it to get any stale air out.... :D

Caplugs. An expansion plug. Solid bulkhead grommet/desk/furniture plug. The list goes on. HD or a brew store will be your shangri-la.

Ace Hardware carries neoprene rubber corks in a bunch of sizes, and those would work perfect for what you want.
They are on the bolt and nut selection wall where they keep cotter pins, e clips, c clips, nylon washers, snap rings and on and on.
I'm in heaven there when modding something. :D
