I like Tony Fields and momoparman.

Both are very clean looking, with new chrome on the bezels. Great job guys!

Thanks Mully!

It's old school for sure. Here's my tunes....AM radio with the FM converter
and single speaker in the top of the dash.

Lots of cool ideas for locations and such for sure....I really like those RM dashes as a replacement for stock.....lot's of options there.

Found one of the LED's lit up on mine...white face and blue LED's.....looks like a space ship inside at night. :toothy10:

After:

Cleaned everything (old chrome was gone...and pre-owner used chrome spray paint which does not stand any fingertouch), did the light bulbs, cut new glas, cleaned the circuit and painted black. Now waiting for new black dash pad cover to arrive.
Well, heres a picture of the construction site ;)

Dash vents are next in line. Changing interior overall from blue/turquise to a black/red.

WIKD71RICK,

I see you used the RedLine insert. Where are the headlamp & wiper switches? I was thinking of putting mine in the metal dash frame between the RedLine insert and the HVAC & Radio (kind of stacked one on top of the other (wiper on top; headlamp below)). Any photos of your plan?

Here is what I have now, but I am going to go in a new direction. Like many it will involve all new gauges and a Redline bucket. I am going to weld up the dash to move the radio back to center and lose all the plastic covering. The toggle switches will be moved down to my center console (once I build it) and I think I am going to make a new panel for the ashtray area for the wiper and headlight switches.

I am also converting the car to floor shift and putting on a larger steering wheel.

My 68 Dart. Pretty standard fare...although that tach has been my companion since 1981.

You guys are doing some inspired work on your custom dashes. The stockies also look clean and new. Keep up the good work.

Here is my fairly plain dash. I custom painted and cleaned up the instrument cluster. Installed a radio and polished the trim and painted the dash a textured black. I also rebuilt the steering wheel taking care of all the cracks.
