I did that with my 66 Barracuda. Swapped out a 360 for a 170. 360 wasn't fast enough for me .

Not sure which year it was at the Mopar Nationals in Columbus but a slant Dart won the bracket racing running in the 19 second range

The fastest Slanted racers are Will Burns, Leighton Drake, Team Green, Mike Jeffery, Dale Rose, Howard Davis, Mark Ethridge, and Steve Nitti. Most of those folks are not racing anymore.

They mostly have Booosted, well-built combinations.
