I had a complete loss of fluid on the way home last night and found the high pressure leak at the pump end of the high pressure line. I tried replacing the o-rings but that made it even worse.
Are the o-rings on the power steering hose ( high pressure side ) tapered, or are they standard o-rings.
I've got a chrysler ( federal ) pump and the old o-rings on the high line look tapered but not sure if it's because they are ancient.
I don't seem to have the right size o-rings out of the dozens I have.
