I got a 65 dart parts car slant 6 and someone asked to buy the power steering pump. I'm treating it as a core, what in the world should I price this as.

If you're truly treating it as a core, look up what a reman costs and find the core price. No way in hades I'd pay 50 bucks for a core. Just my opinion. I've given things away for free for the cost of shipping.

What kind of pump? The Saginaw pump is a little more sought after from a /6 because the pressure output is lower and makes the PS feel better.

Reducing PS pump pressure

No idea if a '65 /6 could have come with a Saginaw pump though.
Haven't looked hard yet just took some garbage pictures in the dark and got out the cold

I'm gonna retract my previous post, because after looking, I cannot find a reman for the 65 slant 6 anywhere. So they are worth whatever you can get I imagine.

Doesn't look like a Saginaw to me. And I'm not suggesting that the only reason someone would look for a /6 pump is for the valve. I was just saying maybe that was why he was interested in it.

if it's known and good, with pulley and brackets it's $125. unknown condition $75, makes noise when spin it over $50
Yeah, after my stupid *** looked online and couldn't even find a reman, I think that's a fair assessment.

Well the damn thing works perfectly fine slapped right on the car. I'm sure I could've charged more than double if I felt like it.

here's your heat check. yard pricing as of yesterday:

pump: 32.99
core: 4.99
bracket: 14.99
tax: 5.29

total: 58.26

did come with the pump pulley and cap, but no warranty.
