when you put a pv do you have to put a gasket on it? or does a NEW pv have a gasket on it already? Because I remember a black gasket looking thing on the pv

Gasket, just make sure it is centered.

needs gasket...and make sure it is centered....

wet it with a little vasoline so it doesnt tear when you tighten it
