Powerball lottery

well the odds of a shark bite while surfing are low but folks get bit.

2 bucks is less than a red bull or cup of coffie and id rather have a win than a bite.
 
I just bought mine. I rarely do, but the chance of an enormous warehouse full of the finest muscle cars and enough cash to fill all of their trunks for $2 cant be passed up.
 
I rarely ever play. But for this record-breaking jackpot it's cheap entertainment to buy a couple tickets and dream about what life would be like with that much money.
 
Maybe if I won I could hire people to restore cars for me... Probably wouldn't though...:happy1:
 
I would just disappear. From everywhere.
 
Funny thing i think of is that a buying frenzy is on now because winning a billion dollars is worth a 2 dollar bet and winning 10 million isn't, even though the odds are a lot better.
Strange thing how psychology works.........
 
I've been waiting on that one - and it's true too.. I know a lot of people who just don't play the lottery, they consider it a "voluntarily tax" and they're pretty much right. So why is it that 1.4 Billion and suddenly they want in, but for a mere 10 Million a $2 bet is a waste of $$? I will say this though - here in Mass there is a game every friggin' day and it gets to be too much.. I play one particular game twice a week - until, like right now, there is a big jackpot - then all of a sudden I have a few extra $$ to throw away too... crazy really.

I'm guilty of the same thing too! :D
 
I buy 2 tickets every Wednesday and Saturday....have for as long a I can remember. Too some it's a waste of money because of the odds but I'm not taking food off the table so I buy them without fail.I also visit the Casino's about every 3 or 4 months.
 
as long as you recognize that you are gambling and don't EXPECT to win... no harm, no foul

I play 2 daily numbers everyday..megamillions every Tues. and Fri...powerball every Wed. and Sat...:D:D
 
I got my tickets...

Now if they can just pick my numbers....
