Will not be growing my own until the house is done. If I do grow my own, might have my well house modified so I can accommodate a grow room, seeing as how it has to be heated anyway. Thinking maybe our loft might work out also. Hate being in the predictament I am in, hurt like an sob today but fearful of taking any more oxy because it will get enough in me so that I will be in extreme pain next time I hit the crapper. Funny how you have a threshold of just how much you can take before it causes other problems. What the hell is this going to be like when I get old??
Hang in there Doug! Look at the recent discoveries in medicine. Things are happenning now at an accelerated pace.
There is real reason to be hopefull.
The second thing is you may want to look at the brand of what perc you are taking and try one called secanol. My good friend Mike with M.S swears by it and says the generic stuff burned holes in his stomach. He was unknowingly switched by a Doc who was filling in for his regular g.p Was in the hospital and lost a ton of weight.Poor guy..
He is the kickstarter for me dropping my percs because they were not only making me crazy and angry but also really bugging my stomach.
You may also want to look into a long acting oxycontin. I take 2 pills/day and they are equiv to 8 percs. It works for most of the pain but there always the storm effect pain, where all my wiring is going crazy.
I also have T3's but they are an acetominophine codiene phosphate base. They do not bug my system at all, dont plug me up like regular T3's,work well if sometimes only briefly at first. You need to keep taking them. And after about 2-3 weeks I have enough in my system that I'd call it a good improvement and worthwhile. They do make you drowsy though it's hard to tell for me cuz Im always tired ,lol!!
I have also found high doses of Ibuprofin (600 i.u) over long terms to be very effective for any kind of swelling or joint pain, back problems etc. My Chiro let me on to it I was in and out so much. 600 i.u every 4 hours is just prescription strength and is safe.It does need to be long term like a couple weeks of doses every 4 hours or as needed.
I have tried something Called Amantadine which they give for epilepsy? I think. It did zip.
I took gabapentin for a while. It only goes so far with neural pain and lets the really nasty stuff get through. I got sick of being stabbed by lightning bolts so I dropped it.
There is another but I cant recall it.
