This is the kinda boat that I wouldn't mind owning.
Drive up to the pumps fill it up and off to the lake...

I've been a 100 mph in my buddy's 40 ft twin 502 Formula..it blew the shirt right off my back..

This one really looks like fun..!!

holy sh....!!!!!!!!!! It sounds like it has some sort of forced induction but I didn't see a boost gauge. It might be the drives, but what I know about boats would fit in a thimble.

I do know that BOAT stands for Bust Out Another Thousand, lol.

holy crap i have been on some fast boats but that is just insane

Not a boat person but looks like a good time.....now that it has warmed up some the boats are returning to the lake that is about 1000 feet from my house. Waiting for the guy with the blown big block chebby to toss a rod or tow......hear lots of rev limiter action going on some days....

Around here that would get you arrested. I'm not sure, I think the speed limit on Lake Coeur d Alene is 50 mph

actually. its BOATS. BUST OUT ANOTHER TWOHUNDREDTHOUSAND SUCKA. since it has two motors. SUCKA TO BUY TWO

:D

Judging by the Nevada weights and measures sticker on the pumps, I'd say this is probably Lake Havasu. The beauty of this video is that they don't appear to be endangering anyone but themselves. Water is calm, they know how to drive, and zero people appear to be out on the lake.

I used to own this boat, it weighed around 650lbs without the built 200 hp outboard. Scared the **** out of my son and myself at around 75, and it still had quite a bit more in it.

its an addiction. i had a 20ft bullet bass boat with a modded 260hp mercury race engine went 106mph and still had more left in the setup. but after the second motor pop'd told the wife its time to sell it and get something else. well i ended up building a shop and have the need for speed again. but im not talking 200000 dollar engines.

Interesting......it really doesn't look like he's going 178 MPH when you look at the shore passing by; it just doesn't look that fast at all, whatsoever. A lot of parts of that video aren't that great, either though.....

I've been looking at boats lately myself. I've never owned one, and yes, I know the old "2 happiest days in a boat-owner's life" joke already. :D

When there aren't any fixed objects to be passing closely by you lose the sensation of speed, it's like that driving on the Bonneville salt flats.
