ive built a 360 (lets just say shes a little more stout than stock) that i can guesstimate at 450 hp to the flywheel. i found a radiator that came from a running 72 dart 318 (the dart had air conditioning if that makes a difference). ill have the local radiator guy clean it out and make sure its ready to go but is it going to be enough? ill have a shroud too, is there anything else that can be done to make it cool better? ive heard you can add cores, can i do that with this one?

yes you can recore it. it helps out alot. i have done all of the ones i own and the improvement is dramatic. even the 18' 318 radiators can have cores added for a big difference. keep the shroud on as well. if your fan is not the thermostatic clutch type, then get one. you can find them on any ac car. just make sure it works with your shroud and dosen't come in to contact with the radiator......
