got them as a gift. there is an electric switch/solenoid that opens a butterfly . they dont come with tips. 12 bucks at the parts store.
Yeah, I figured you bought the tips, I allways wanted to pull up to a rustang and crack open the cutouts!
The seats and panels were in the project car I bought. The previous owner started on the interior and quit.
Drilled and tapped a hole for the 180 deg temp sender. Also put a 90 deg 3/8 pipe 6an fitting on the fuel pressure regulator. (was a 45 but hit the intake after removing carb spacer) Need to figure out something different for the upper radiator hose. The lower hose is getting a bung welded in tomorrow. (tig welder needed so i'm told) I have a piece of exhaust pipe between the radiator and water pump. Dual purpose cavitation/petcock. replaced the 1" spacer with a 1/4" edelbrock gasket. Switching back to the flat hood for a more stealth appearance.
Got the council carpet today. Bought some 2"x4' industrial strength velcro from menards to hold it in place. (with the switches being there it just made more sense not to glue it)
I cut out another shifter slide from a black antifreeze jug. The red era plastic that I painted black was starting to flake off.
had plenty of room for the stock hood with my summit 14" drop base air cleaner and a 3" wix filter. (1/4 edelbrock spacer/gasket between carb and intake)
procrastinated for a couple years on the fresh air vents and it took less than an hour to fix. Still can't decide on a shifter handle. Think I'm just going to switch em up like my girlfriend does shoes.
