#projectvertfish gets a new AAR style hood

My new hood just arrived from VFN fiberglass.
I'm very impressed with the finish so far.
I cant wait to get it installed on the car.
I just need to install the light weight springs for the hood.
And we all know what that entails.
Does anyone have any suggestions for the best way to get to the springs?

Only guessing but maybe remove your fender splash sheilds and cut the clips that hold them in place ?
