"...To give you a bench mark the slant six in Australia uses a different oil pump casting...it has fittings and oil lines running to a remote oil filter on the opposite side of the engine. This is due to steering box clearance in right drive vehicles. There is no new oil pump available,Chrysler Australia have been gone for decades. Every Slant that gets rebuilt in Australia has a used oil pump....as long as you use good rebuild practices and check pump tolerances then there is zero issue..."

I remembered this post when I was looking for info on your hi-volume pump quest.

Thanks.....and here I am feelin like I won't find a hydraulic rocker shaft bolt. LMAO

looks like you could just saw off the filter mount and thread the galleys if you were really hard up for a RHD new pump.

Broken links Dan....wait...only I can't see them? What, is it in the N&P forum or something? Disregard....must have been working on them still. I see them now.

I would assume the higher the filter mount is... the more potential drain back.
Mount the filter low, at sump/just above sump height.

Cool! Part number…? Application…?

Well.....that's the weird part. Here's the one I have.

Ford Performance M-6880-A50 90 Degree Oil Filter Adapter

They have since discontinued it. They made that for YEARS. Then suddenly, like a fart in a windstorm, POOF, it was gone. Here is what they replaced it with.

Ford Performance M-6880-B50 90 Degree Oil Filter Adapter

New and improved? I don't know. I like the version I have. The new version is billet and all anodized like a play pretty. It may be "better" somehow. I don't know. I remember I hawked eBay for the one I have and got it for like $69. This new one is more expensive. I guess they figure cause it's purdier.

Looks like the new one also takes a smaller filter with metric threads. X-(

I didn't notice that. That's what the main difference is then. That blows. Well, you have the part number for the old design. Maybe you can find one.
