Push button for center console...

I am in need of a push-button release for the center console. I have a '75 Dart Sport. I found 'em online but DAM, they want a fortune for 'em!!! Anyone out there got on in the barn? If so, how much? Or trade? What are you looking for?:banghead:

Post a pic. I have some 68-69 glove box pushbuttons. I don't have any idea if they are the same or even close, but if they will work I can let you have one for $10 shipped (I'll have to go through the parts I just set aside for swap meets, though).

Check your local wrecking yards - trucks and vans from the 70's and 80's used the same button on their glovebox doors.

I have 2. One that requires a key I do not have the key and one that does not require a key.

Both are stainless, work and look good, need clean up and polishing. These are the ones that attach to the lid that opens and are bolted/screwed to the bottom of the lid.

Glove box and console push button latches are the same part. Difference is a removable bezel/ring around the outside.
