On the LA engines that oil through the head, do you have to use solid pushrods or can hollow pushrods be used? Seems like most all the pushrods on summit are hollow. Also, where is the best place to get the cup/ball type? Thanks.

Manton or Smith Bros are the best pushrods IMO.

All of the rods are hollow tubes, the ends are either solid or drilled.

If you can pushrod oil as well as the shaft oil, it's a good thing. Keeps the adjusters from being eaten with a positive pressure oil supply.

Running stock non adjustable rockers... don't bother with pushrod oiling.
