putting a ford 5.0 in a 72 Dart

-
OP had his Duster for sale in January and his most recent postings refer to seats for the 72 Dart he wanted to swap the Ford engine into.
He may have figured out that this FORD thing was a bad idea.

Its like the guy with the 69 440 Charger RT that made it 4 wheel drive. It was his car to do as he desired, but most people might say it was just a "bad" idea!????
If I ever win the lottery that is exactly what my plow rig will be

Wasn't there a NASCAR race where the Slant 6's won not because they were faster, but because they were slower and didn't burn fuel or wear tires as bad, so they didn't have to pit as often?
i don't know the particulars of the racing strategy but there was a series of races put on-- road course and the big oval at daytona and the vals absolutely dominated the competition winning both outright and taking something absurd like the first 7 finishing positions on the big oval race.

to note though, they were the only ones that had factory backing. but still, 120mph in 1960 on the big oval with a leaning tower of power ain't nuthin' to sneeze at.

I just checked my notes, i went out to plow 17 times this season
It snowed last here in New Orleans in 2008 and then 2025. My wife and many others we know put some in a zip lock bag and kept it. My large freezer has a bag labeled snow 2025 on it lol

Darn old SE TEXAS we get actually maybe 1/2 inch about once every 5 years/. Sometimes a hard frost a couple of mornings.
No traffic on the blacktops but the city guys and big trucks still run!!!
Here in Michigan we get 4 months of winter and 8 months of lousy sledding

Of course, everyone forgets how to drive during the summer so the first good snowfall of the season and everyones in the ditches

What if I said I married a girl who like Mopars and looked like Jessica Rabbit but without the rabbit ears. That count?
Actually, Jessica Rabbit didnt have rabbit ears, she wasnt a rabbit, she was only called "Rabbit" because she was married to Roger, and that was his last name. Now if you want to talk about those bodacious tatas..... :)
