Quesnel Car Show

This show I won the "Earl Olsen Memorial Trophy". Sort of like a "Best of Show" sort of thing.

The Large trophy I don't get to keep since it has all the cars won starting in 2006 on it. But I did also get one of these smaller trophies to keep:

The Black Barracuda won 1st Place Mopar Pick and the Purple Dart took 2nd. I can't remember who took the "Best Mopar Overall" Award.

I certainly never expected to win anything at this show. There were a lot of nice cars. What's neat though is about 3/4 o the way through this show this mysteriously showed up under my windshield wiper:



I think it's a neat idea. Makes sure the people are there at that time to collect their trophies so there is no waiting for some guy to run the two blocks to come get their trophy or leave thinking they didn't win anything.

And something funny happened! The owner of that purple Dart... him and I were talking for about an hour before we realized we had the same last name!

I wanted to photograph EVERY car but that was a lot of work. So instead I picked out most of my favorites. All MOPAR are my favorites so I started with them and moved onto the nice look classic mustangs and a couple of the Hotrods
