Planning to bring my car and hopefully run it, for fun! Never taken this one to a track before so it should be interesting to see how it does.

I have a 8.75 suregrip and housing with complete loaded backing plates/drums with 3.91 gears. $850 in the sale section. If spoken for I'll bring with me Saturday morning

Loaded and ready to roll. I had some last-minute glitches this week with my carb. It started going lean on pulls and misfiring badly. Couldn't get it sorted out. It still looks brand new inside and out. I blew everything out and put new gaskets in the bowls and metering blocks but no dice. Running 2 inline fuel filters as well. What could it be??? The car has been running awesome until a couple days ago. Finally swapped it out with a smaller, almost new, 600 Holley I had on hand to get me by. The car will be slower but still fun. Maybe that's a good thing since I don't a roll bar.
A friend is bringing a spare 780 with vac secondaries with him so I may be able to do a quick swap if time is on my side. Ugh! But at least I'm still going and it wasn't a bigger problem like I was starting to think!. 4 hours ago I was ready to throw in the towel. I've never had this car to the track yet. Time for some shut eye.
