You got anymore pics of the silver pickem up from the first set of pics? Looks like a great showing.
 
You got some great shots. You must have been there Saturday because of the car show pics. I made it out there today.(Sunday) I heard next year is a go. Should be bigger and better. tmm

This is what makes drag racing great.Everyday guy(or team!) rollin on.This is what drag racing means to me!
 
My dad, brother, and I made it there on Saturday, it was a great showing and sounds like they'll do it again next year.

I ran in the Mopar Muscle class and won first round, but missed the call for second round (along with at least two other drivers :cwm10:). Not really a big deal, I was probably watching the blown cars run when they did the call and just didn't hear it. Not the way I prefer to be eliminated, but oh well.

Anyway, everyone I ran into was friendly and the car ran it's best times, 12.40s at 106. Definitely a good time and I'll be back next year.
 
Hopefully I'll be around for Saturday next year. We can all get together. tmm
 
Alleyoopmgv, The orange 68 RT is owned by a friend/customer of mine. I saw him today and we got online to see his picture. He was pleased that someone liked his car enough to take a photo and put it on the net. Thanks from Terry!

Yeah I heard that a few people missed their round on Saturday, that sucks! They could have a better speaker system, but I hear it keeps getting struck by lightning.

My buddy with his 65 Belvedere Won in the Sportsman class on Sunday!

Here's a few pics my brother took at the track on Saturday. The first is a shot of my Duster coming out of the hole, the second is my dad and I pulling into the lights, and the third is a sweet Super Bee with beautiful green metallic paint job. I'll have to hit him up to see if he has more...

Were you guys around on Sunday? I don't remember seeing your cars. It's really
too bad I couldn't have set up a meeting place for FABO members. I had a busy weekend that I had a hard time fitting in Mopars. I made it to the strip on Sunday. I hope to spend 2 days there next year and host a go to spot for members. A cooler full of beverages and a grill for burgers and bratz would be cool. Can't promise but I would like to make that happen. Oh, the green 69 Bee is owned by a guy I know from north of Charles City. The car has a stroked 400 and built it for E-85. I figured that out after he came back in the pits and parked. A very cool car. He is a bodyman by trade. He's only in his 20's. The car is perfect. tmm

If I remember right, the PA system was struck by lightning last year as well. I need to just start bringing a little radio, they broadcast over 94.5 FM during the events.

Congrats to your buddy, that Belvedere is a sharp car.

I was debating going back on Sunday and wish I would have. I decided early that morning that it was going to rain and stayed home to work on the honey-do list.

Maybe Brian, Matt, and me need to find a sportsman 12.0 cut off class to race in more often.
Your too damn fast for us in your neck snapping Demon.
