Question about new Front Pre Bent Brake Line Set

My new front brake line set from The Right Stuff (YKT7301) just arrived and is fully coated in the spring armour the entire run from left to right of engine bay.. this did not seem to match picture and my old lines had zero spring (maybe was a replacent before.)

Should spring guard be on there?

Looks like I ordered 73 disc, I must have made a mistake as I need for 74 Dart.... anyone know if the bends are still the same?
maybe thats why the difference in spring?
