Question about shock mounts

Are 8 3/4 shock mounts the same on a & b bodies?

no! i thought so to... the fronts will switch but not the rears... tried it on my 65 belvedere to a 68 dart...

Don't want to start an argument but my a and b shock plates are the same between my 66 net and 71 dart.

hmm... the only thing that held up switching was a metal sleve in the b body rear shocks, tried to get them out but with no luck... could have been my problem...

Anybody else tried to preform this job? I have an A-body 8 3/4 almost ready to go in, but no shock mounts....

I used C body shock mounts in mine, no problems.

the later B's won't work because of the isolator, IIRC.

The early, 72 and before will cross over to an A. I think that's the cutoff
