R12 refrigerant. Anybody here still use this stuff. I intend to go with R134A whenever i do decide to A/C my car. I have converted a few cars to R134, and never noticed any difference in it being warmer or cooler. Only differences i can see is fill port adaptors. I have 2 cases of 12oz R12 cans i would like to probably sell for $35 per can. That seems to be the going rate for it these days anyways. I will start a sale thread when i am ready. I need toresearch ORM-D shipping for this.

Any ideas or thoughts
Matt

I have R cans of R12 and plan to use it in my restored factory AC system for my 65 wagon which was designed for R12. I picked up a 92 Dakota to use the drivetrain, wiring, AC etc in my 47. Got to looking and it says use R12 and not 134. I figure 2 cans per vehicle. I probably ought to get a couple more cans just in case - like I did with your Commando baseplate. In. Are I don’t see the For Sale ad when you post it, if you remember when you decide to sell yours - drop me a PM and I’ll take a few off your hands.

I still use R12 in my Swinger and I was lucky enough to have a friend that had a few cans. Pretty handy after I blew a original hose apart twice in a day. (first one end then the other.) Just a word of caution to buyers and sellers when you open a thread, R12 isn't worth a whole lot. There are very few 12 systems out there. Most have been converted to R134. I got 5 cans for $30. If you have some to sell and want mega $$$ for it you may own it a long time.
