Would like to get recommendations on where to send the AM radio from my 68 Dart for repair/upgrade to AM/FM. Hoping for a good job at a reasonable price. Thanks!!!
I've sent two radios to Tayman Electrical stereo solutions for collector cars for conversion and I'm very happy with the results. I've also recommended him to others and they all are happy with the results. Not cheap, but worth it.Would like to get recommendations on where to send the AM radio from my 68 Dart for repair/upgrade to AM/FM. Hoping for a good job at a reasonable price. Thanks!!!
Well, If you look at yesterdays dashes and compare them to modern dashes, driver comfort took priority over entertainment. Years later when D.I.N. (google it) began Chryslers two odd little windows did not work at all, while Ford, GM, VW, could be adapted whether it was above or below the climte controller. Wanna talk about PIA? I put over 2 years into designing a support that would accept any OEM climate controller and any "Walmart" D.I.N. head unit in the rally dash (67 to 71). To This day there are only 4. Not on a dime profit.Thank you! Was really hoping to keep the original appearance. I have presently installed an electronic gismo that takes four hands and a 6 year degree in electronics to operate and after it has been on for 15 minutes squeals like crazy. Totally a piece of junk. Plus it was a pita to install.
Thank you to all who replied. Have gone from no idea to plenty of options. THANK YOU!!!Contact Us - Classic Car Radio Restoration I used them wasn’t cheap
