Rain rain go away!

Anyone else?
This will be a mess to clean up in the back yard!

I'm feeling ya Ray - I'm located about half way between you and Mitch. There is so much water in the ground, my sump pump has cycled on every 7 - 10 seconds since Saturday afternoon. Sounds like Niagara Falls pouring into the pit. But the kids have not had to swim out of the play room yet. My basement has stayed dry!

Same here I have a old house from 1802 dirt floor basement that used to have a cistern in it. Yeah might have to say it has been running a lot the last few days!

Well it's rained every day here in Plant City Fl. , Hard forever now. Septic drain field is flooded. I had to uncap the 4" clean out cap and let the crap run! Top That!

We have a sand mound system here I am sure the pump in the last tank has been running non stop also!

We use elevated drain fields here also. But water level is so high, water is running from the drain field back towards the house.

I put the sand mound a good 100' feet from the house in my field. Dam water is running right over the three tanks they use. Really a stupid system if you ask me but all that is allowed here.

Good morning SG, I worked in Plant city for 10 years each year for strawberry season (sheer crop worker) in that little town named Dover, and when it rained down there it seems it was being poured from a bucket, 30 min later the sun would shin, then back at it again 30 min later... Wife and I need to get down there soon and see family

We have had an unusuall amount of rain and cooler temps here, but 6-7 miles to the east towards Claremore, it dry as he__ __ .

This time of year we get some good afternoon thunderstorms rolling in off the Everglades. They can get pretty nasty. They usually don't last into the evening though, so we can get the cars out most of the time.

We've been in the middle of a 2-3 week stretch of 90* and up. Just got rain yesterday and more today. Fishings been awesome!

I had to do that last night. Luckily there was still a little bit of daylight left when I heard the buzzer go off on the tank alarm. The ground is so saturated the pump couldn't push the water anymore. Looks like the weather is starting to clear up today at least.

Send some water to Tx, It is hot and drier than a popcorn fart ( they are dry)..... At last you are not in Ca., with brush fires, then mudslides, and NO mental hospitals for those in need of.

My little girl, she is 7, has made the best of it. As long as it's not thunder and lightening out, she's been donning rain boots and riding her scooter thru the puddles while it's pouring, been in the pool, jumping in puddles - and having a blast doing it. Her 10 yr old brother looks at her like she's lost it and goes back to rebuilding his legos. My wife doesn't like the extra laundry, but it has broken the monotony of being rained in for her.
