Rally Dash in a 1969 Dart.

Anyone know if a '70 Dart rally dash will physically fit a 1969 Dart? I plan of redoing everything, so the differences in wiring don't matter.

it will phisically fit but there are a lot differences between 69 and 70 ....first main difference is 69 has ignition on the dash and 70 on the column

if you can keep parts consistant with each other it will work

A 69 Barracuda would be a direct fit.
67 has a different style radio .
68 has a lower dash pad and a different ash tray.
70 has no flasher switch in dash and no key in dash. Also header control is different style. It will also have a different glove box door lock.
71 is the same as 70 but it has the same radio style as a 67 not a thumb wheel as 68 and 69

The answer to your question is yes it can be done with some mods. Stay with the key in dash and get a 67 - 69 harness . The flasher switch is just a hole in the upper dash bezel above the headlight switch. Heater controls are just a mounting issue.

Thanks much. I like the rally dash a lot better than the grandma '69 Dart Dash... I just hope this isn't considered a sacrilege!

The climate controller behind the bezel didn't change much before 73 so shouldn't be a problem there.
Cutting the hole in 70 sheet metal for a ignition switch is simple enough.

The rallye dash was factory installed in some 68 Darts so yeah, nothing to it really.
