I am just curious if a 68 cuda dash frame would fit in my 73 duster so i can use my rally cluster?

Yep. You'll have to fill a few holes because of the dash mounted key and lower dahs pads in the Cuda, but its a bolt-in

yes but you will have a hole where the iginition switch was on the dash frame on the barracuda. I have done this swap, and simply welded a patch and finished it off and mine looks great.

well, I paid 40.00 for my frame, but that was a good deal at a swap meet. Yes you can modify you existing harness fairly simply byr moving the pins around in the round conector for the gauges. I also had to add one wire but it was pretty easy. Get your self a factory shop manual with the wiring schematics, and you can see where everything needs to go.

yea i was defiantly going to get a shop manual for it. What does the clock gauge hook up to on the harness. Am i going to need a new wire for that? Jealous on the score you go yours for lol im just ify about the price and driving the 3 hrs to go get it lol

A clock usually hooks up to the ammeter or lighter circuit but you can run a hot wire to any 12V battery connection. Just add a fuse to the circuit for safety.

I have a rally dash in my original 72 Duster dash. You just have to cut the area closest to the radio. Used a license plate as a template. Sounds redneck but it works!
I'll show pics tomorrow.

You'll need the speedo wiring harness plug and lengthen the ammeter wiring. If installing the tach will need that harness too. I have the 150 speedo and dash frame from a 70

You might as well get rid of the ammeter while you have the dash out. An ammeter is a bad idea, it just might melt a hole in your dash if you put enough current through it. You want a voltmeter instead. Just cut the two wires and splice them together.

Thanks guys for all the help. I love that way the dash looks so happy i finale have the chance to put one in.

Bp27 great idea with the cig lighter as well as i like the set up u have with the gauges on the pillar

You can get lenses for pods and even the 4 colored indicator lenses at PG Classics but be prepared for sticker shock.
The factory attached the clocks hot wire at the amp gauge red terminal.
I dont like the lower dash pads so 68 is the last rallye dash I would want.
I cut a second ignition switch bezel into my 67 rallye dash for the right remote mirror controller. You wouldn't need to do that when your ignition switch is on the column. With a 68 dash and ignition switch bezel your right mirror control could be lighted too.
Just my 4.5 cents :)
