Rallye wheel center caps need washers?

Lock washer or the star type? Using standard .5" quarter inch bolts.................

All mine and I had a few sets had lock washers..

I think star washers would be a good idea if you use standard bolts. The original self tappers didn't use locks though.

A toothed washer cant hurt anything so long as the bolt head stays below the wheel to hub mating plane. You don't have a lot of space to work with there.
