Thanks Mike! Those 72 grills are much smoother and less busy than the other years. It bolted right on too.

Are you talking about the vid I posted above?

Happy Turkey Day Bro!

What I have noitced with the ones I have been associated with.
Seen this on 3 differnt ones and years.
1986
1988
1990
Steering gear boxes leak.
Front ends start to wander (gear boxes)
Driveline noise and clunk clunk on accell and decel.... happend on all 3
and lastly... they were all underpowered. The 318's were stock and the 360 in the 90 is stock... very doggish.
other then that... they are good...
just from my experiences.

I've got the steering box issues on my '89. Had it on my '79, too.

As far as the 318 being underpowered: on that I'll agree. Besides the fact that I got a good deal on what used to be a spotless TN truck 12 years ago one of the reasons I picked it up was for the 4-speed in it. That way I can row my own gears for towing loads and somewhat overcome the lack of power. 100,000+ miles later daily driven in upstate NY I can say I have not one bad thing to say about it. I've owned and beaten a lot of Mopars over the years, but this truck has been the most reliable I've ever owned.

I love mine. Well, it's the wifes. I get to drive it when it needs gassed up.
