Whoa! I spy with my little eye...

Is that a 100B in the background?

If so,

I also refurbished a '48 100A for the Wife. Converted from 78's to 45's. Still running the original tube amp with a small sound modulator board I added to help with sound on the single speaker. Rare front coin return machine...

Absolutely beautiful jukes!

As a kid I grew-up with a Rockola 1452, and I thought it was my personal record player. (I mean, every kid had a jukebox, right?) Parents sold it when I was about 10, but I "rescued" another one in WV about 15 years ago, did a "stupid money" restoration on it, and that got me hooked. Since then, two Trashcans, three 1448s, one 100C, a Continental (briefly), and even a 1015 (very briefly) have passed through my hands, amongst others.

Shame the market for them has crashed, but as Ron Rich (RIP) once told me, "Enjoy them, but don't invest in them, as the guys who remember them are dying off, and the demand just isn't there any more".

But I dont care, as I want to be buried in my truck with my 1452 in the back!

Jim

(Did I say those are some beautiful jukes?!)

If they can't tell each other apart, why do they get pissed when WE can't do it either ??

Back in August, before my son went back to school, we decided to visit South America. This time, my wife went with us, she had never been to South America.
We stayed in Buenos Aires, Argentina, for six days.
