Oh, God! One of the reasons I don’t hang out on the Ford truck forum as much as I do here for this very reason:

Help! I removed all of the smog equipment and fuel injection junk from my ‘89 F150 and put a Holley on it, but the Holley doesn’t fit, and the truck doesn’t run! Whats wrong?”

So help me God I wish I was exaggerating.

That sort of goes both ways you know. I do need to ask a couple questions about lowering my truck. I don't need responces like, "Have you lost your mind?" and "Why the hell you want to do that?" . So I don't ask. Joined that forum months ago. Still silent.

petition to have this built here?
Did you see in that magazine the guy in Queensland that bought a v12 deutz air cooled diesel 12 months ago and is building a very large car around the motor truck front axle and truck diff with an Allison 5 speed auto to go with it, he has formed everything for it under his carport, the most complex tooling is a plasma cutter and a welder, and some dies he has made to shape steel tubing on his hydraulic press
He has nicknamed it the deutzenbarge

Two things. First, be aware that that forum (FTE) moves at a snails pace compared to this place, so you may have to wait a while for a response. Secondly, as long as you show even a modicum of talent or knowledge you’ll be taken seriously. It’s the posts that seem to be written by 12 year old children who can’t think for themselves that get ignored.

Not a lot of joking and/or camaraderie over there, but eventually you should get the info you need.

Good luck!

(And if you’re working on an OBS or Bumpside, feel free to drop me a PM. Maybe I can help.)

Gracious people. So glad I met him, before his passing soon after. Midwest people, rarely got to see a lot of the left-coast racers.

Looks like North Shore. Duluth
Precisely! Brighton Beach looking southward toward Duluth. Our niece is getting married in Duluth tomorrow, and since my wife is from Carlton, and we have family that live on Park Point, we came up early to catch-up with some folks.

The Brighton Beach visit was just a spur of the moment thing for us. Nice new park!
