Sorry I haven't been in here for ages guys.Not to worry the Dart is still going strong and will be finished in the future. Here's my dad and my Aunt Nancy outside his drug store in Winfield BC in 1965. The point of the picture of coarse is the Valiant. Dad said it was the best car he ever had, 225 slant six but went like hell he'd say :cheers:

Whatever happened to the car and how are your dad and aunt doing these days?

The car was handed down to my sister who sadly drove it into the ground. It hung in there until 1973. No oil changes in years I bet. Aunt Nancy passed away in 1977 age 77. My Dad in 2004 age 85. He was over seas from 1942-45. A great dad. The impression you get from him in the picture is the way he was, friendly, kind, warm hearted.

Great picture Richie! It is just classic. Also, great memories of your dad. One question: Was your aunt 19 years older than your dad? They don't look that far apart in age.

I did make a boo boo. Nancy was born in 1904 and passed away in 1980. That makes her 15 years older than Dad. Actually she's Dad's Aunt, his mother's sister but more like a big sister to him.
