Rear axle on Charger 1971

Is it normal that you an pull the wheel a little bit in and out on the rear axle?

Yes. That spec is .006-.010 I believe. It is adjustable on the right hand axle if it still has the original tapered roller type axle bearings. Get you a factory service manual for it and it outlines the procedure very well.

Nope. Check the end play, it is adjustable.

Remove the passenger side wheel & brake drum for access.
